How to Anodize Aluminum Heat Sink

For the aluminum heat sink, the surface corrosion resistance is not strong, must be surface treated by anodizing to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of aluminum. Here is the anodizing process: degreasing (chemical degreasing, electric degreasing), descaling, anodizing, coating protective film (grease or special protective agent), there should be a cleaning process between the processes. No electricity is required during the oxidation process (but heating is required, generally about 150 degrees).
The film obtained after oxidation is normally silver (related to the material composition). It has a slight corrosion resistance, but it can improve the extinction ability.
The effect of electron loss of matter is called oxidation; on the contrary, the effect of electrons is called reduction. The narrowly defined oxidation reaction refers to the combination of a substance and oxidation; the reduction reaction refers to the effect of the substance losing oxygen. The oxidation value increases upon oxidation; the oxidation value decreases upon reduction. Both oxidation and reduction refer to reactants (molecules, ions or atoms).
